Reference T/R Failures, not always a total loss

Had a cargo door come loose on a UH-1H. Took out the T/R and 90 deg gear box. Did a running landing in a rice paddy. No further damage.

Help with a regulation

Some years ago I remember a regulation stating that any aircraft requiring 2 pilots the PIC had to be ATP rated.

I cannot find reference to this in the FAA or ICAO regs.

Any help here?
