Exclamation Bristow Full Sponsorship

Sounds great.

My top tip for anyone going down this route, or any other path to the offshore flying world would be to get your PPL(A) in your back pocket and crunch through the ATPL(A) theory...

Jet88,

I have asked the very same question to the CAA recently, regarding the use of my IR(H) to reduce training hours for an IR(A).

The 'experts' say that the IR(H) must be valid ie current...

I spent a rather pleasant day on Loch Awe yesterday with a fly rod.

I used to see a lot of Jaguar and Buccaneer flying north-south down the loch, during the long summer days of school holidays....

Too little, too late

I do think that if an FRI were to magically appear, it would be to little too late for many.

But, why would they offer FRIs? There isn't a problem, according to Manning. :ugh:

Gentlemen,

I'm interested to hear the thoughts of those out there who decided to take their 12-year option from the RAF.

What was it that made your mind up to take the option? Did the 4 years...

Has anyone seen any video of the landing? (my guess, a heavy one or just mis-controlled).

HC4 vs Puma 1 & 2

Having never flown it, I can't say for sure how a Carson blade HC4 would perform directly against Puma 1 or 2. My educated guess, not as good as Puma 2, but better than Puma 1.

However, the HC4...

Bishy,

JHC don't do "thinking"... they're experts in the "knee-jerk" department. Fact.

Anyway, more importantly, I'm glad the crew are OK.
