What has happened to CAVOK

Lots of ATIS reports in the UK no have

Visibilty 10km
No Cloud Detected

This seems pretty much the same as CAVOK.

Any reason why CAVOK isnít used?

I believe SR stands for Short Runway.

BA CityFlyer E190’s are SR types and fly into London City, which is a short runway.

They have been modified to be able to fly the steep approaches there...

From my experience they nearly always give a rate of descent to fly which will get us level at the waypoint eg FL220 at Anglo or FL190 at Ratuk.
