Wouldn't be hard to equip the Coastwatch aircraft with SAR gear just in case.

ZZC has been fitted with an 'air-operable' cargo door by Cobham's Adelaide engineers. Not sure if others have had the same work done but Cobham seem pretty happy with the results and their capability...
