Convair 340 ZS-BRV, crashed break up during a test

Sadly, this CV-340 in Martinair livery was soon to be ferried to Lelystad Aviodrome. Engine failure on take-off. Couldn't make it back to Pretoria-Wonderboom Airport in South Africa.

Another wrong rwy close call at SFO

Aeromexico cleared to land on 28R, lined up on 28L with Virgin holding for takeoff. Tower issued G/A with AM 668 at 600 ft alt.

No incorrect procedure. Tower cleared for 28R, got correct readback....

Glass cockpit

The glass cockpit is to enable the Connie to fly charter into any class airport. The FE panel arrangement of gauges is getting an ergonomic redesign, but will still have steam gauges.
