Slight correction, there were fatalities in the period 1987 to 1996, Cormorant Alpha 1992, Brent Spar 1991, to name a couple of fatal accidents.

North Sea heli ditched

BBC News reporting that a helicopter has ditched 20 miles south of Sumburgh....

Operator is reported to be CHC.

Fingers crossed crew and pax are safe.
