just to add that AFPS15 has removed the abatement trap so you will ‘lose’ pension from earlier schemes if you rejoin but your AFPS pension payments should not be affected by subsequent service....

Your AFPS75 pension is based on your final salary which means it a much better deal then aircrew not on PAS who’s Retention Pay (‘flying pay’) is not...
