We knew it got sold off to a private buyer but it wasn't scrapped and has resurfaced in the news. Hope it can go to the museum or mounted on a pole out the front of the academy.

Soon it will be hard to tell by sound alone whether an ambulance or police chopper is coming. I've seen a lot of the Dauphines during lockdown in my area. Really going to miss them.

Reminds me of a rodeo. Would the rotorshaft have cables running up it to change the pitch? Maybe like an Enstrom? (I'm not sure if that's how an Enstrom works.)
