Air Canada

I try to avoid AC even though they are the only option from my local airport (YYB). I prefer to drive 4 hours to Toronto and use Westjet. The last time I flew AC was in 2010 because I had to get to a...

GLA-CPH

Seems the GLA EMB will be doing GLA-CPH-EDI-CPH-GLA on weekdays.
If EDI-LBA is ongoing, it's a bit of a strange decision as the GLA route has about double the Pax?

Air Canada

AC used to operate year-round to GLA from YYZ. I used the service fairly often in the 90's when I made business trips to Europe, having a short stopover in GLA to visit family. Loads were generally...

Skyservice Aircraft

When I was at YYZ on Saturday, there were six Skyservice aircraft parked - two A320's and a 757 at Fedex, two 757's at Cargo West, and one 757 at Skyservice hangar. One of the 757's at Cargo West was...

Skyservice Fleet

EGCC, I do understand. I was simply pointing out that the Skyservice fleet is all leased. I know there will be a gap in the UK market because they won't be supplying aircraft this summer. Seven...

Nearly all the aircraft are leased. The winter leases from TOM and TCX have been returned to UK. Of the remaining aircraft, several are leased from ILFC, and one or two from other lessors.

Passengers as guests

Stop stop stop
Passengers on Westjet have always been called guests - and are generally treated as such. Certainly I always have been.

ginga worm

Does it occur to you that your comments may be offensive to the people of Hamilton and those who work hard to make the airport a going concern? Do you even know where Hamilton is? Perhaps an apology...

Dash 8 Deliveries

To update my recent post, msn 4206 is now at Toronto (YYZ) in FlyBE colours, wearing Canadian reg. C-FPEX but with "OD" over the cockpit window. I assume delivery may be imminent.

The same applies to flights from many small or remote airports in Canada, if the flight isn't direct to a major airport like YYZ.

Notice this flight is routing via Goose Bay today - is it because it's a 737 or is it non-ETOPS?
