You have almost got it right, re- AB and APD, the main reason
for pulling the MAN-STN route was most Pax had to pay the
APD twice on flights connecting through STN to other destinations.

Manchester announcement

I think Ryanair will be looking to open a STN/LTN route
out of Manchester after Blackpool was dropped and
AirBerlin pulled out.

Also PMI, ALC, GRO, BGY, CRL, BHD.

On AirBerlin's website it now lets you book the above routes from
Stansted but you do have to go via Germany but for me it beats...

Its the APV building, used many times as you say for remote stands before sat 3 was built and before the top of sat 2 was in use, thats where we trained for our PA's.I remember boarding Air UK...

I think Jet2 would do well with a STN-JFK service,
If you look at the JFK flights from STN, Maxjet, Eos and American they all offer a very differant kind of servise, you have Eos with high price...
