Wetin consign you

Let me swim against the current here. I've been with Bristows for some time, all those years without fail I had my salary in my account at the end of the month, if there is another 4.5% added to it,...

Silence, please!

If Bristow management would be making much noise about their pay review, the existing long list of applicants wanting to work for them in Nigeria would increase to the equivalent of 8.9 on the open...

The Julius Berger expats were travelling in an armoured Merc G escorted by 2 dozen+ soldiers, and look what happened. Bristow is smarter than that: Pack all your staff into a clapped out Toyota...

Secret Handshake to Snake Island?

Rotoranus,
You should get yourself a new technical advisor. Nobody needs any handshake - secret or openly - to arrive at snake islands, Here, we are all equally worthless.

Agbami?

GMIA,
There is no split in anything here: Bristow has got the contract (100% that is), if you want to be part of it, I'm sure you know who to apply to.

Troubel will soon be over

The arrival of S92...AB 139...EC 175 etc. coincides with the departure of old English Pilots, who sometimes don't mind to fly unservicable helicopters and sometimes complain if the technical records...

If your other half is being considered by Bristow to come to Nigeria on a 6/6 roster -which means unaccompanied - you really don't want to know about the shapes social life comes along. On...

Neo Knows Nothing

VAL,
"I no nossing" may have been a good line by that Spanish chap in Faulty Towers. NEO is certainly much more "in the know" than he pretends to be. Probably just fishing, he is, good old NEO.

helicfii,
Obviously quite a lot. I suggest you read through a few more posts of the past to enlighten yourself, probably best to start with Mama's "What is new in West Africa" dated September 2003.

Weather Limitations

What about the 5000mtrs/1000ft limitation Shell has introduced to Helicopter traffic within the PHC and Osubi zones? You certainly won't find anyone more dedicated to safety standards than Shell.

Not Nigeria

Neo,
That job is advertised on the Bristow website (Carribean Pilot) and refers to Trinidad. As you mentioned, in Nigeria even the distant third player offers better than that!
