Do you need a class I medical to start the theory exams? or can you not do it on your class 2 and when back in the UK, do the class 1 medical and start the flying bit of the CPL(H) course?

If the bond on the contract is written as 50.000 but no mention of VAT, is the bond including VAT so I can claim that back ?
Or will the bond go up by 20% if i want VAT...
