yep, several companies have their own civilian type certificate, can be used in restricted category ie No pax.

Takes about 6 months to have the UH60 to be released from DLA after winning the bid...

That’s a buy 180 from Kalitta. They never used to even hire green card holders, they required US citizenship.

Just shows how dire things are getting in the US for staffing.

Many more vigilant ground ops do exactly that on a regular basis. Some people just won’t listen or don’t understand, you have to expect that in a charter/tourist operation.

back in 2015/2016 most of the examiners were new to foreign license conversion ATP rides. Now they’re well versed most examiners know the FSIM’s requirement for a current IPC.
