Paul Cook

Attila,
Paul was both an engineer and then a pilot. He was an aircraft tech in the RAF before joining Bristow in Beccles, I believe. After gaining his CPL(H) he became a S61 co-pilot before...

ABZSpotter

New glasses indeed needed! It certainly looked more like a 225, rather than a 332L! But I definitely didn't see it on FR24.

Slightly off thread, but I believe very relevant....

Some years ago (around 25!) two friends of mine were flying a PR type flight, onshore in a 332L. The LS was in a field near the very large...

Sea states en-route

JimL,

I spoke to a very nice Met man at the Aberdeen Met Office about 15 months ago, who showed me the data that is now available on sea states/sig wave heights in UK waters. It is possible now,...

TM,

The 332Ls in Aberdeen, if those are the ones you are referring to, were only put back into service after the EC225 was grounded and no other airframes were available. I think you will find...

Sultan,

Thanks for info on The 429.

I understand that some 135s do have FDRs fitted - the newer model P2+ has the AR Combi 204C fitted and some T2s have something called a CPDS fitted, which...

Forty odd,

Just done as you suggested.
I defer to your superior knowledge! As an AS332L/EC225 driver, I've had a FDR/CVR for many years. I haven't flown the 135, so my apologies.
However, a...

FDR/CVR

Seat changes

Why only the EC225? The seats in Bristow 225s are different to those in CHCs - don't know how Bond configure theirs.
So, will they also look at the seating in the L2s? And the 332L 'classics'?
