According to Newcastle thread, it seems Eastern have pulled out the ABZ route. So would seem logical to route SOU-ABZ via MME instead of NCL.

Out of these two airports, Flybe mainly flew from NCL to SOU and EXT year round, they only flew to JER seasonally from MME. The rest of the MME operation was T3 / Eastern.

Looks like Eastern will be basing a F100 (lease?) and a ER-4 at SOU.

SOU - NCL
up to 2 daily:
0710 and 1510 (MON-THU)
1110 and 1510 (FRI)
1510 (SUN)

Only displays 2 daily on the SOU-NCL...

There is MAN, MME and HUY which Flybe serve to ABZ. However MAN will likely to be cheapest as will be Flybe operated whereas T3 operated flights from MME, HUY & NCL may be more expensive.
