How on earth did he/she manage that? It looks like the aircraft was stalling before it hit the tree. For once all the lucky breaks lined up.

Last time I flew that route I passed Shoreham a couple of miles out to sea whilst talking to Farnborough South. Also I don't recall them having radar or an ILS.

I think most pilots will let someone have a go, however I would advise a little caution and don't let it distract you from being in charge of the aeroplane. Fly safely and have fun.

I've had several flights like that. I just went to the nearest airport and enquired at the club. No problem to fly with an Instructor. They didn't even look at my license.
