Not to Europe, not in the sandpit, commuting is a no go here, too much trouble, no time off, custom problems, overbooked flights etc. Also you cannot live in Dubai if you work in Doha, you will not...

About 2 years ago you probably would have been invited for an interview as a A330 captain. Today you still might have a chance as a A320 FO. Good luck.

Why QR?

Didn't you guys read the warnings here year after year! Korean, Vietnam, China etc looking for pilots right now. Good money, commuting contracts, why in the hell you want to join QR?! :eek:

No shortcuts at the moment

Unless rated on A330 or B777 you can join the A320/300 fleet. There are plenty of pilots waiting for fleet transfer. Join th queue as everyone else did.

are so interested in QR after reading all these posts? In the Gulf try:

1) Emirates
2) Etihad
3) Gulf
4) QR

Then you have also Air Arabia, Fly Dubai, Kuwait Airwys, Jazeera and Bahrain.
