Zeffy...... under 121, we would go straight ahead and account for the obstacles in the flight path, if we didnt get sufficient operational weight doing that, we would design a single engine flight...

Got to disagree with you, if you cannot achieve the required certification climb gradients you are climb limited, if you cannot clear obstacles in the takeoff flight path then you are obstacle...
