They are also fully compliant with Uk regulations and operate under the direct authority of the UK CAA for parachute operations. No grey areas at all.

He was colourblind and had a specific licence restriction to Day Time Flying ONLY. He had NEVER been trained to fly out night due to this restriction. This could not be over ridden on his 61.75...

He was colourblind and therefore never able to get a CPL/IR. he loved to fly but could not afford it hence getting into parachute dropping and ultimately the arrangement that led to his demise.

He held a PPL for many years. 2014 was when his JAR licence expired and he converted to an EASA one. It was also around that time that he got a 61.75 based on his UK PPL.
