It is not A Piper PA-35 Pocono - it's THE Pocono - only one built. It was too big for the pistons they fitted - should have waited for PT-6's really. AFAIK the prototype finished up in a village...

Wrong on both counts I'm afraid - it was a civil project and they did build it - but I think only one flew - the prototype hung around in some strange spots for a long time but I don't think it still...

I was thinking Curtis Shrike but that was a 2 seater... I'm sure I've seen this one........ the Turner-Laird LTR-14 looks similar but the engine doesn't seem right
