Guess you hit it at the right time! Was rammed for me when I was there. The 90 minutes was an exaggeration I'll be honest. Probably took about an hour to get through the security and immigration....

As someone who uses AMS with KLM to fly to the USA I find it just as easy to use that as making the 2 and a half hours drive to Heathrow or having a long layover in Dublin.
