Why bother? You can't choose where you live in company housing. My advice is take the allowance and live wherever you want. Business bay and marina are good places to start.

The thing that gets you here is the time zones...

The thing that gets you here is the time zones and early/late starts. For example this week I lost 1 full night of sleep, my last start was 5am my next one is midnight.

I second what seaman said. One problem here is that while you may have 2 (or 3 if you're lucky) days off after a flight, it takes at least 2 days to recover and actually be able to do anything useful...
