On reset of FAC versus Circuit Breakers

drphillips and others have stated the difference between reset and CB. MY point was/is that IF the FAC(s) are fubar due to ?? ( sensors, bad connections, etc ) then pilots wind up in a infinite loop...

1) " HAL" although degraded has the final word or

2) the Pilot has the final control.

All else is 'yea but " arguments.


BA enables 2, Airbus uses 1.

don't understand what makes diff if B777 or A320? :ugh:

In 777 - and most other BA planes, pilot has final authority over computers etc by simply pulling or pushing or turning...
