But
Correct me if I am wrong:
All transport category aircraft MUST have positive stability inside the flight envelope . Period!
And...

Max Software fixes delayed, Infinitely!?

I find this latest development from Boeing and FAA fascinating.
They push the MCAS software patch without sim training as if they have fixed the problem.
Only to possibly admit a short sim addition...

Indeed, this is the process.
FAA and EASA certifying in parallel and close cooperation.
That trust has now been broken, if not practically , most certainly on a PR level towards PAX.
I see the...

The way I see it it is to approve or disapprove whatever Boeing and FAA has cooked up this time.
After all it was China EASA and Canada that grounded the Max and not the FAA.
Having the FAA in the...

Dave

What surprises me more is that FAA is allowed to be in this Group as they are clearly the incompetent Authority.
With FAA possibly leading this Group, in principle it invalidates it as an...

Next on is: Stall incident!

OK
I have another thing I want to get of my chest:
The next Max incident could be as follows if only MCAS software as proposed is implemented:

A average ( or below ) Crew approaches a stall...

The In-house Hierarchy.

I am probably wrong, but could it be that the less able were put on the 737 max program as it was safe and boring for the average engineer and test pilots.
I do propose this considering that the...

Met a Cpt the other day that claimed it was much easier to fly???
Find this...

Bureaucracy
Hmm, Is that not part of the problem here TD, The Big Overseer FAA not having the oversight!
" Boys, that looks to satisfy the details, but is it fit for purpose , and is one input...

Salute
Indeed , would I love to take the MAX to the limit, but I pass! Except with a Full Boeing Testpilot!
Firstly, this day and age I think if it is NOT possible to reproduce and recognize in the...

No training for the MAX!

Rant in progress....
To no- one in particular, BUT let me make it clear to all that no 737- 800 pilot has ever had any training on the MAX.
In my not so humble opinion!
Why say You?
Well , let me...

Not Airworthy!

Canada is now going to look into what deal FAA and Boeing made to rush the Max onto the market.

I was asked by some Pax " When can company X start planing use of the MAX they have? "
The answer...

Gums
I have to say I enjoy Your analyses.
In the airliner world there is two camps: Airbus and Boeing.
And very few that has ever been in both, at least the ones posting here.
In the Boeing camp...

Pimped up 737-800 , the P8.
It will be interesting to see what they plan to do low level with it.
The power power coupling with rapid pwr changes is nasty if one is used to a P3 I suppose.
The...
