If you have applied for International I would say they did send you the wrong email. Email should say Qantas Pre-employments- Qantas International
Give them a call on Monday.

If ground school is planned, there is no way they do not know what fleet the newbies will be endorsed on and what base. Doubt it they make that decision the day...

They could start calling before the active hold...

They could start calling before the active hold is up to complete security and/or medical and still wait for a ground school start in the next financial year.

Up until now you were either mainline (747/330) or 380. I haven't heard how it is going to work with the introduction of 787. If anyone has heard any rumors please share.

I got the 'we will be in touch very soon' email almost four weeks after applying and just over a week after that got the VI invite.
As someone said - no news is good news.
After all they are busy...
