Given recent years, I'd imagine that 50-100 is about normal.

The choice of school is purely personal preference. Do your research into each regarding costs, location, whats included and what isn't and make your choice from there.

You are correct squarehole, though you are given the choice. Most people appear to have gone for the BA backed loan, though it's got a slightly higher interest rate.

There were plenty successful applicants under 25, some even 18 or 19 fresh out of school. There were also plenty without degrees.

Don't forget those salaries are exclusive of bond repayments - £12,000 per annum and flying pay which should be worth at least £7-8k. That puts year 1 total remuneration back towards the low £40k...

I've been lead to believe the base salary increments are about an increase £5k a year until it catches up with DEP payscales.
