Didn't make the cut, but I did receive an offer to start a self sponsored course later this year. Gonna need to spend a lot of time thinking about it.

Flybe got back to everyone 2 weeks after the assessments last year. Lets hope they can repeat that feat again this year :)

Nah I'm sure one of the interviewers said they will only send the results of the top 8 performers to Flybe. Who knows?

Maverick, FTE estimated we should hear back from them within 2-3 weeks. Also, I think you're right about Flybe having to approve the successful people first, since they will send the 8 best...

Yes you can Maverick, the hotel is a 15 min walk from the airport. FTE handled the assessments last year, so unless this changes, I can't see them not being there, since you will be put through FTE's...

I definitely recommend the Hampton by Hilton, its very comfortable and the staff are really friendly! you'll also run into Flybe crew who either nightstop there or are there for training.

Officer Kite is correct, only 8 will be selected to start in June. It doesn't sound like a promising figure, but if last year's assessment candidate numbers are anything to go by, then only 30-40...
