I remember seeing it there at that time, yes it was an anti-Sellafield campaign. I think the boat is the Rainbow Warrior II, as French special forces had mined and sunk the Rainbow Warrior I !

As far as im aware there was never a Ferranti connection with this aircraft as during 1980 Denis was operating both Bell 206 EI-AWA and Hughes 500 EI-AVN.

That "Eye of the Needle " Widgeon must surely have been the last airworthy example of the type (Widgeon or Dragonfly) in 1981, very interesting.
