Sorry to hear you have the ole pulsing eye thing. I was referred for a scan but it never happened because the second specialist, after checking my eyes again and checking neck pulses...

Here's the update. T'was a PVD ..although the pulsing is not part of that, nor is the sense of oddness about the eye socket but the specialist and I both agreed that as I am fairly highly strung...
