I was asked by CAE to hand in my CV after 14 months of waiting. Does that mean that they are going to call if all papers were OK? or is it something everyone else got as well?

It seems like a lottery, no one knows what/who they prefer. Some people with thousands of turboprop hours has been invited several years after applying.

There is no guarantee whatsoever, not even when "employed". However if you do well during your TR and LT, seen historically it hasn't been a problem. Ryanair still has a need for people.

Ryanair is unfortunately pretty much the only show in town in most countries unless you have the 1500h tt and 500 on type. I don't think anyone regard them as a viable "employer", it's a good way...

Thanks for your reply. I have that exact efis-layout on my PMDG 737. Maybe it's a good idea to get used to it doing som raw data work.
