Albatross and Dave Reid,
Unless I misunderstand, both primary and secondary radar contact was lost.
If true, how was 370 tracked and by whom ?
Never re-identified in an ATC sense.

The ATC protocols and procedures are not, in my opinion, `clearly unsafe`!!

Maybe not quite ICAO standard but perfectly normal.

How was MH370 re-identified after total loss of primary and secondary radar and loss of R/T, and thus it`s track plotted ?

The secondary response disappeared, then primary return disappeared. R/T shut down.....

Did somebody continuously track the a/c after that..who...verified?

Where does it say that the a/c was continuously tracked without a break, thus retaining identification ?
I read that a/c disappeared from radar.
After that. primary returns were observed but...

How did the Malaysians identify supposed MH370 ?

No Secondary, no turn and observe as no communication.

After contact was lost, no secondary, track unknown how were these later `sightings` identified as being MH370.
Pure speculation.
