Does anyone know is the 2 attempts rule still applies to the ATC trainee applications?

They used to state on the website that you are only permitted to apply twice before being barred forever but...

I don't mean to sound like a sore loser here, but does anyone else get the feeling that this intake was a sham?

Is it possible that the large number of En-route students suggests a higher staff turnover in this area?

Maybe they don't run tower courses as often for this very reason...

Anyone know how many they are hoping to recruit in the current round?

Did you guys/gals get to specify whether you were applying for en-route or tower or is it just luck of the draw what you end...
