I noticed that even the CFM56-7B does this, even if the mechs topped up the engines pre-flight the indication might go down to 12 or 11 which normally means its time for a refill. Back on terra firma...

Hmm, I agree with Brian, its pretty obvious - yet there should be a procedure telling you to shut it down like there is usually a procedure for all other more or less obvious problems you could get...
