CVR Details

The speakers are in the forward console, one each for the Capt and F/O.

There are no "panel mounted mics" that activate when the speaker switch is selected. There is a single "area mic" mounted...

Fuselage width

The sonar scan image 2 posts up, reports the width of the selected section as being 4.6m... this corresponds fairly closely to the A320 fuselage width of 3.95m.

The typical beam-to-length ratios...
