Makes sense - let the flight school assess the technical knowledge and let BA assess culture fit and personality - so more like an interview than an 'assessment day'

Which flight school exams? You have the PAX announcement after the check in test, then the assessment day after that.
Seems a very long time between completion and not hearing anything back

They said they're not assessing technical details but more about the communication style and how you articulate the message. So yes, it shouldn't go against you as long and more of how you said...

With the online tests you had 2 days to complete....

With the online tests you had 2 days to complete. If you were invited anytime on Thursday, you had until 2359 on Saturday to complete.
But with this Audio test, it looks like you have an extra day...
