Thanks for the correction. However if the recorders provide no answers (ie Swiss Air 111, TWA 800), then I would imagine most (if not all) of the wreckage would be raised as has happened before.

I'm able to play the .mp4 files using Windows...

I'm able to play the .mp4 files using Windows Media Player. Just right click the file and select 'Open With' -> 'Windows Media Player'. Hope it works on some of your PCs too.
