E165 I think You must be mistaken about a new hire class, seems impossible to get in to Japan. Correct in a 787 transition class having been restarted, but only with 5 out of the original 10 members....

We have attrition but that will end when the last American leave, they are pretty much the only ones with better...

To apply for DEC You need a JCAB Atpl, meaning that You either are working or have worked in Japan before.
