I just find sat watching the aircraft track the localiser, it drifts off, then will hold the aircraft in a slight bank and regain very slowly indeed. It copes poorly with wind shifts at low altitudes...

737 is fairly old-fashioned from what I read...

737 is fairly old-fashioned from what I read about the A320:

Lateral:

HDG SEL
LNAV
VOR/LOC

LNAV follows the route in the FMC. The other two are "what it says on the tin"
