That doesn't "expire" your license, only prevents you from exercising the privileges of the lincese until you get another valid medical certificate. The license does not expire, period.

@plikee have the procedures changed? What you describe is the regular PFD/ND layout which im familiar with. But i have heard Ryanair uses the EFIS (Southwest) style layout only for the assessment....

Has anyone asked the SIM assessor if they can fly with PFD/ND mode instead of EFIS if both you and your SIM partner are more used to that?

If EFIS mode is used only to facilitate for people...
