It wouldn't have been inside the recuperator bay...

It wouldn't have been inside the recuperator bay panels in the MLG bays would it? Could explain the 'orrible stink that eminated from them and corrosion on the front spars! :oh:

Would the 2012 reunion only be open to RAF personnel?

I worked for 10 years on Vulcan for a civilian contactor and would love to attend (availability willing).

Most of the Vulcan was relatively easy to maintain, with two exceptions I had particular interest in maintaining.

Some of the components in the hydraulic panel area aft of the NWB were a nightmare...

I have a framed squadron print of a Vulc which was signed by all of the crew that collected the last Vulcan to be serviced at Bitteswell...I wouldn't part with it for the world.
