Unnecessary

A minor technical problem caused the airplane to fly away with the three pilots. A completely unnecessary accident. The exact opposite of the Hudson accident....

@28L I fly out of AMS. I don't like late change-overs from automatic to manual....

Everybody seems convinced that the autopilot was engaged. Was it?
Personally, when I intend to do a manual landing, I fly a manual approach.
