Agree on the ELT, as covered above
Also agree on which HTAWS system was installed. As noted, it could have been the GNS 430 or 530 on board system. I wonder if it had annunciators, aural warnings....

It is alarming there was no mention of a HTAWS...

It is alarming there was no mention of a HTAWS caution/warning within his statement. Nor did the ELT go off after either impact.
I wonder if the NTSB will open a second investigation about the...
