What makes you think you'll get to choose which course? There are more enroute courses with more students on them. If you want to get into ATC, take the first one offered.

Radar (ML, SY, BN etc.) Class D (HB, LT, BRM etc.) and Metro D (MB, PF, BK (etc.)

For those of you who think there is only one separation standard you're in for a shock! Lateral, Vertical, Distance, Time, Wake, Radar, Runway and Visual separation are all used by tower controllers....
