172 hourly rate around $120-140
instructor hourly rate around $50-70

you are right! i almost forgot books and materials fee.
PPL book around $50

C172 usd$200/hr x 10 = 2000
ppl ground school usd$50/hr x10 =500
air ticket return usa usd$2000
accommodation usd$180/week x 3 = 540
total $ 5040
so usd$ 5000 is reasonable.
and can achievable!
