I think you've misunderstood. I was pointing out that the Oman Insurance (through APC) does not cover PWRT. I am looking for alternative insurance cover. SO yes, I've "Got it" and don't need a layer...

How does the premium compare with API - i.e. 120 USD per 100,000 USD of additional coverage and does it include the passive war participation (or equivalent)?

Thanks for the info. This insurance seems to be similar to the one through APC (in terms of price) - through OMAN Insurance Company. Except no benefit is payable for 'Passive Participation in War!

Does anyone know of a good life insurance for us poor pilots?

I have a policy at the moment but it's linked to membership of APC which I'm considering not to renew.

I almost never use the APC...
