Satelites spot hundreds but Surface craft find nothing?

I cannot believe the surface craft have not found any of the flotsam spotted by satellite. What must be happening is objects are found but are just the usual crap bobbing around in the roaring 40's....

Don't forget northern arc

Until definite wreckage is found the northern arc is just as valid as the southern. Surely the southern route would offer no 'benefits' for hijackers.

other ping rings

A number of previous posts have mentioned that only the last ping was recorded. obviously if the previous pings were available the track would have be plotted instantly -days ago!.

Er not quite correct.
Up to 59 minutes error, so +/- 480nm plus glide distance of up to 120nm to 150nm. So add possible error of 630nm radius to those arc's in any direction.
