You are quite correct CTC did not pay a penny for the 737-800 sim, however they do not own it, Rockwell Collins still do.

CTC do have to pay RC everytime the sim us used on an 'by hour basis'......

A guy finished with CTC last year, sat in the pool for over a year whilst hanging round for CTC. Managed to get HIMSELF in to Air Malta but needed his IR renewed so...

I dont know how but I only had 1 miss on the final test!!!

To this day it still amazes me, I must have been that up for it my mind went into super focus mode :p
