I can't remember any aviation accident where FDR...

I can't remember any aviation accident where FDR and CVR data have leaked to the public only a few days after the event like it happened in this tragical accident.

BTW, it wouldn't not surprise me...

When I left 320 in 1998 SOP in our company was

MANUAL FLIGHT = MANUAL THRUST

This accident could have definetly prevented using manual thrust.

A300 has a very similar TL system like B737 (which I haven't flown, but was told so). Means moving TL, thrust rating panel, no FADEC.

Some people say A300 is the best BOEING ever build by AIRBUS....

I think it's nearly impossible that TL can be locked mechanicaly wise, BUT it's possible to have a THRUST LEVER FAULT.

This means the electronic TL-command is stuck.

The point is, many accidents with AB happened 'cause the pilots did not fully know/understand the aircrafts systems. You can't wipe this away, it's a fact.

I mentioned the similiar s7 sibirian accident here as well. Anyhow the 310/300 has a completely different A/THR system compared to 320. It's working more like Boeing.
