No it doesn't always stay the same...in fact, nothing stays the same at Cathay. The intake is different each year depending on the demand for pilots.

I guess they are just starting the courses that were once on hold (good news to those that have been waiting patiently!). Cathay is still only recruiting locals with HKID at the moment.

Yes you will still have to resubmit your application, unfortunately. But it's in no hurry since you are given six weeks to do it. It won't affect the schedule for your upcoming 1A and 1B

greatbattle, It's definitely 55 weeks now...

greatbattle,

It's definitely 55 weeks now because they are introducing a new syllabus. The total hours for the 61 week program was around 220 and now that it's 55 weeks I am not sure what to say...

Thanks! I don't know what it was like before but I applied in mid-January and got the invitation in mid-April. So I would say around three months for me.
