I know where you are coming from, but this was a fixed pitch prop..... Now I know what you are going to say, it is the prop then, so we tried another one of an identical aircraft that had no problem...

I do and don't agree, I had a case of one new engine that revved high, indeed just over the red line on take off...

This was tech logged and I set about it, prop changed, blade angles reset, RPM...
